Slidell, Louisiana – March 19, 2009 - Attorney Jesse B. Hearin, III from Hearin, LLC in Slidell will bring his staff and qualified volunteers to Houma, Louisiana to hold a free insurance coverage review for the residents of South Louisiana. The event will take place at the Houma Civic Center from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. on April 4, 2009.

The Hearin, LLC team will meet with policyholders individually, review their policies, and discuss coverage issues with them. This is a free service and is available to individuals and business owners. Policyholders are invited to attend any time through out the day.

The purpose of the event is to provide policyholders with resources and information about their potential coverages so they can make informed decisions for their families and businesses.

According to Attorney Jesse B. Hearin, III, who has represented property owners who were devastated by Katrina, “Our experience tells us that if homeowners and business owners understand their rights and insurance coverages, they are better equipped to make intelligent decisions and make sure they are treated fairly.”

Because many of the employees and friends of the Hearin, LLC team have suffered substantial losses due to hurricanes, they want to share their knowledge and experience with the people of South Louisiana facing similar situations. When Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast region, thousands of volunteers responded to help the affected communities. This insurance coverage review in Houma is a similar effort to make sure that the victims of last year's hurricane season have the information they need to protect their families and businesses.
